Location of Valdegovía

The Valdegovía Valley covers an area of 21,617 hectares to the far west of the province of Alava, forming a wedge that enters right into the north of the adjacent province of Burgos.

Access

Communications within the district are excellent:
By road:

1. From Bilbao (60 km) and the north in general, the most direct access is via the N-625 or La Peña Angulo N- 636.
2. From Vitoria (40 km), San Sebastián (110 km) and the east in general, the shortest route is via the N-1 trunk road to Nanclares de la Oca, then the local road through Pobes, Salinas de Añana and Espejo, which is crossed by the N-625.
3. From Miranda de Ebro (20 km) and surrounding area, take the N-122 local road which connects Miranda to Puentelarrá, then pick up the N-625.

By Rail:

1. Miranda de Ebro station only 20 kilometres away

By Air:

1. Foronda Airport (Vitoria-Gasteiz) 48 kilometres away.
